im on fire!!

well...where do i begin??? saturday night we had a bible study in RC lounge and God had come to me again. He told me to pray before we left on friday near the van and that i needed to tell haebin. he kept pressing it too. and i told haebin after she said we would pray. and then God came to me sunday and told me something was wrong with the van and i needed to tell kelby. but i had to wait until after church, after we ate lunch at the Jet and until e got back to my dorm. and i finally called him to tell him what God had told me about the van. and he was like "yeah there is something wrong with the van, the transmission has been sticking. thank you for telling me and im going to look into it." and then sunday night God spoke through josh to tara q. and i. he told me that this is where i needed to be, at lighthouse and i sat there bawling with tara. tara has noticed i sigh when i cry and looked up verses for me and none of them are really helping me. and when we went to terra cotta josh had told me that i had blossomed and he could tell when i got in his car sunday morning. and sunday morning was amazing. i felt so energized and excited to be there! and i told pastor and he was so happy for me. and the service...amazing! pastor was jumping and dancing all over the place. it as cool and josh and chellie led a dance line around the church and the little kids followed as well as some adults. and i could feel God there i really could. that was the first time in my life i felt His presence. and we agreed sunday that something needs to be done with the teens in the back right hand corner...or was it left? idk but we agreed they need to learn about Him. as it was the pastors daughter was laughin at us as we danced around the church. i didnt go because i was jumping in place :D but we had soaking prayer sunday like i said and we actually stayed there until 10pm and we were supposed to meet adam there at 8 but we never did so he wound up leaving and didnt come back. but God spoke through josh to chellie, myself and tara again. it was pretty cool to see how josh is growing. he says he wants to get baptized tomorrow after BASIC. :)
we had another Jam tonight with mike, josh, kristylee, and myself for an hour. nothing better to do...and josh wanted to. i read through Matthew while singing and praising Him. and now im just sitting here..tired..didnt get in until 12am. and josh was up at 6 and as soon as my AOL popped up he IM'd me. so we talked for awhile and we were supposed to meet for lunch but he went to pastors for 3 hours and i had lunch with chellie and found out ed came back to classes but we didnt see him. maybe tomorrow.

a friday evening with friends and God

so we had the BASIC Variety show tonight and there were soooo many people in costume!! one of the grossman girls went as laura ingalls...oh my goodness she was adorable!! then there was kristina in her beautful fairy dress and wings! everyone looked amazing! i was in a skit and i was pulled into it last night. it went rather well. josh and mike were pulled up on stage to be "tables" so we could put water filled glasses on them. so kristylee, myself, chellie, and kristina did the cafe skit. it was so much fun! and then the show got done at 9:30 and then we came to see adam. josh won a cake that haebin made and we ate the entire thing and now deb is sitting next to me hand ripping (?) a candy pizza. she was my twin for the night. my hair didnt cooperate until the pastors daughters helped do mine debs hair into pig tails. we wore 3 quarter length shirts, jeans, snakers, and a butterfly clip. deb and i competed but got honorable mention. meghan and her friend who went as vet techs won because she actually had a puppy there in diaper.but kristina won for being a fairy and she won a free dinner at an elders home and she invited me!!! yay!! im so excited. i get to go to the Burdicks which will be so much fun because i have never met them!! so now were sitting with adam til he gets done with duty at 1. josh, myself, kristina, deb, tara, kristylee, kevin, deb, francis, haebin, mike, and vera are here sitting here just praising God and chellie is giving tara and haebin a massage and were all eating junk...and mike is playing guitar and singing. and yes he did play two christmas songs to which kevin got mad because he told us o wait until AFTER thanksgiving.

going into hornell tomorrow so i can get stuff for the conference next week!!! im just tooooooo excited, but can one be too excited? i think not!

amazing friends

so its 9:45 and im just sitting here with adam,deb, chiya, josh, chellie, and kristina. just talking and listening to joshs computer playing worship music. i absolutley love chiya and all the international students. they teach me so much and theyre all so funny!



deb and i got our costume ready for tomorrow. i guess were doing pigtails, jeans, sneakers, and 3 quarter length shirt. oh yeah...and glasses....not sure how its going to look but oh well....especially with my hair! seeing as how i cant put any product in it...its going to frizz like mad!!



chiya just went "hello baby!" to joshs stomach!! so funny!! you had to be here!! and she called him "daddy!" josh has always been so funny about his stomach and he thinks that once someone pushes it, its just hot air and it will go away. lol :P



i really wish that i didnt have a test tomorrow i wish it were friday. but if it were we'd be at the variety show. haha and josh and mike dont know whats coming!!! i got let in at like 9:30ish about the secret skit. and im going to be in it!!! i have no idea what im going to say!!!! ><>

God is good and i love Him always!

God is working here

So I woke up at 9, because I didn't have class. Got ready and met Josh and Chellie for lunch at 11. Chellie and I got there early so we ate before Josh did. She gave Josh and I a small bible we could carry with us! I have been wanting one for awhile now, yay!! We talked about God and last night and how I had recieved words from Pastor Roger and Tara after the speaker. I spoke to Pastor after and I told him that I was making Lighthouse my church while I am in school here until 2009. He was over joyed as was I! He asked where I had come from before and I told him Intervarsity. Intervarsity had been a HUGE part of my life (2 years) because I was rebaptized there my freshman year. I had met so many friends there and for the past two years He has been tearing at my heart between BASIC and Intervarsity. I found God at intervarsity but it got to the point this year where the speakers werent making me grow as a Christian and i needed to grow. and i started going to BASIC on Tuesday nights and i felt God allowing to do what i had wanted to do...grow! there was also just too much drama at intervarsity. When I think He gave me the answer, in actuality He hadn't. BUT He DID give me the answer last night, through Pastor and Tara. God spoke through them that I was supposed to be there and it was my family now. I'm so happy that He has finally come to me with an answer. Anyways, Pastor put his hand on my head and prayed for me. it was just ...words cant descibe it. and then with Tara...oh my goodness!! She told me that i was going to be the first to blow the trumpet and that i am a pot on the stove, boiling and ready. i dont remember what she said after that or what Pastor had said to me. But i do know that i have a new family now who will build and stregthen me up so i can be ready for anything.



God has done so many amazing things here in alfred. Jessie in Asia with her and her team mates doing His will and saving so many over there. Speaking of saving, my friend Josh was saved this past week or so and he has had so many prophecies (sp?) to him. mostly how he is going to be a leader and a pillar. He told me last night he wants to be a minister because of all of them. I am just so happy to see him grow and be so happy and Godly. its trully amazing. and we have the BASIC Conference coming up. im kind of upset we leaving at 4pm but at least were all leaving together!! i cannot describe how happy i am. everyday i just wake up with a smile on my face knowing that i am soooo blessed. i trully do not think i would be here today if i had not of met God in 2006 (my freshman year here). and to learn what He has done for all of us...amazing. and then theres just everyone at BASIC and lighthouse who i cannot thank enough for everything they have either taught me or said to me. i am sooo looking forward to the rest of this year and next.



Home is ok. my moms supposed to send my book that i bought and my hot chocolate mug. my parents and brother have been working alot. my dads birthday was yesterday, tried to call him and he didnt anwer. and D-Day is sunday!!! yay for Dome!! wish i could be there but alas i am stuck in alfred :( Go Liverpool! Kick WG's butt!!!





Deb is coming over soon and then were going to dinner..mmm pizza!! and then were getting our costume together for the Variety Show tomorrow night....theres a secret surprise that only her and chellie know....augh...i reallllllllllllllllly wanna know what it is!!!
